Tadoba Core Zone is the heart and soul of Tadoba National Park. It is famous for thick forest, diverse flora and fauna and its tigers. This is the real, raw wild side of the park, and nobody is allowed to live there. It is a very crucial place where the wild animals are and the natural resources are rigorously taken care of and protected by the forest department. The gates for entering the Tadoba core zone are Moharli, Kolara, Khutwanda, Navegaon, Zari, and Pangadi.
The buffer zone is the forest exterior that envelops the central core area of the Tadoba National Park. In this region, rural villages and wild animals co-exist with one-another.
