Core Zones
The Tadoba core zone is the core of the Tadoba nationalâpark. It is known for its dense forests, variety of flora and fauna, and tigers. This is whereâthe real, raw wild side of the park is on display, and no one is allowed to live in it. It is a very significantâspot in which wildlife and natural resources are heavily cared for and protected by the forest bureau. The gates to enter the core zone of Tadoba are Moharli,âKolara, Khutwanda, Navegaon, Zari and Pangadi.
Buffer Zones
The buffer zone is the forest area aroundâthe nucleus of Tadoba National Park. In this area, forest villagers and wild animals coexist. This region is very essential forâincluding people from adjoining villages in tourism. They give the best quality animal watching opportunities. Buffer zone is easily accessible as compared to the Core zone and it is just as culturally rich, save for 200 villages where visitors can mingle and relax in the company of locals. Canter safari is good for those who are looking for an affordable safari ride with 20 to 22 people. This open-seat safari is available in the Moharli and Kolara zones and has less flexibility than a gypsy. For a canter safari, you need to book tickets on the spot, as there is no online booking available for this. Canter safari has its own beauty and you will also enjoy visiting the jungle in this mode of transportation in Tadoba jungle.
Full-Day Safari
A full-day safari is for those who want to enjoy the full jungle from morning to evening. It allocates special permits for VIPs, photographers, and researchers for multiple zones in one day.
Jungle Trail
Jungle Trail is quite effective for those who love to be in nature to get some sigh of relief inside the park. This nature walk will be quite fruitful for staying healthy and candid for eyes because of watching birds, plants, butterflies, and more. A beautiful walk in Agarzari, Sitarampeth, and Moharli buffer would be quite relaxing.
Boating Safari
For this full-on adventure, you need to visit Irai Lake and enjoy photographing all the way round in slow movement of the boat. This is safe, eco-friendly, and perfect for bird watching and other aquatic species.

Moharli Zone
The Moharli Zone is the most visited zone of TadobaâNational Park, and is considered best for tiger and other rare animal sightings. The path of a high-end national biosphere reserve is, in this respect, unparalleled in the world through its linked self-drive routes. This area is perfect if you want toâhead off into the wilds. There are sevenâgates to this park: Moharli, Khutwanda, Agarzari, Devada, Adegaon, Junona, and Mamla. Tourists are required to submit their full name, ageâand sex as appeared on their ID cards to register for entry.
Kolara Zone
The Kolara Zone is the second most preferred area by tourists, situated between the popular Navegaon and Moharli zones. It is a unique mix of joy and adventure with a high density of tigers, making your chances of sighting one very good. A maximum of nine vehicles are permitted into this zone each day. It is highly advisable to explore both its buffer and core areas. The zone has multiple entry points, including Kolara, Palasgaon, Chauradeo, Alizanza, Madnapur, Shirkheda, and Belara gates.
Khutwanda Zone
Khutwanda Safari Zone is in the core area of the Tadoba jungle. This zone is located so close to Moharli Gate. Connectivity is so strong here and easily reachable from Nagpur and Chandrapur.
Navegaon Zone
The Navegaon Zone is a top core area located about 140 km from Nagpur. It is a peaceful zone known for its clear jungle structure and is no less amazing than the Moharli zone. It offers excellent safari experiences with a limit of six vehicles allowed per session in the morning and evening. The zone also features comfortable resorts for a pleasant stay. For safari, it is accessible through three main gates: the Navegaon Gate, Navegaon Ramdegi Gate, and the Nimdela Gate.
Zari & Pangadi Zone
This zone is located in the central part of Tadoba and is well-connected to Moharli, Kolara, and Navegaon. It provides beautiful views of the park and offers various staycation options with all essential facilities for visitors. It is an excellent gateway to the core and central tourism areas of Tadoba. The zone is accessed through several gates, which include Pangadi, Pangadi Aswal Chuha, Zari, Kesalghat, and Zari Peth. It provides a comprehensive and convenient Tadoba experience for all its guests.
